Physical Therapy (PTJ) engages and inspires an international readership on topics related to physical therapy. As the leading international journal for research in physical therapy and related fields, PTJ publishes innovative and highly relevant content for both clinicians and scientists and uses a variety of interactive approaches to communicate that content, with the expressed purpose of improving patient care.Established in 1921, PTJ has a total circulation of approximately 77,000. With an impact factor of 2.645, PTJ ranks #1 among all physical therapy journals worldwide and #3 among all rehabilitation journals. The mean time from submission to first decision is 50 days. Time from acceptance to publication online is 2 months or less and from acceptance to publication in print 5 months or less. The acceptance rate is 30%.

Physics Education seeks to serve the physics teaching community and we welcome contributions from teachers. We seek to support the teaching of physics to students aged 11 up to introductory undergraduate level. We aim to provide professional development and support for teachers of physics around the world by providing:

Physics and Chemistry of Liquids publishes experimental and theoretical papers aimed at furthering the understanding of the liquid state. The coverage embraces the whole spectrum of liquids, from simple monatomic liquids and their mixtures, through charged liquids (e.g. ionic metals, liquid metals and their alloys, ions in aqueous solution, and metal-electrolyte systems) to molecular liquids of all kinds. It also covers quantum fluids and superfluids, such as Fermi and non-Fermi liquids, superconductors, Bose-Einstein condensates, correlated electron or spin assemblies. Papers on physics with no obvious medical or biological applications, or papers which are almost entirely clinical or biological in their approach are not acceptable.

The Physics of Metals and Metallography (Fizika metallov i metallovedenie) was founded in 1955 by the USSR Academy of Sciences. Its scientific profile covers the theory of metals and metal alloys, their electrical and magnetic properties, as well as their structure, phase transformations, and principal mechanical properties. The journal publishes scientific reviews and papers written by experts involved in fundamental, application, and technological studies. The annual volume of publications amounts to 250 papers submitted from 100 leading national scientific institutions.

The journal publishes papers on all aspects of all organizational levels of experimental plant biology ranging from molecular and cell biology. biochemistry and biophysics to ecophysiology and global change biology. Physiologia Plantarumalso publishes Minireviews and Technical Focus papers. with the aim of providing a forum for the exchange of information on recent breakthroughs and technical advances. REGULAR MANUSCRIPTS Regular manuscripts should present original hypothesis-driven research in one of the five subject areas covered by the journal (Biochemistry and Metabolism; Ecophysiology. Stress and Adaptation; Uptake. Transport and Assimilation; Development. Growth and Differentiation; Photobiology and Photosynthesis). The experiments described should address questions pertinent to the research topic and the outcomes should advance our understanding of the processes being studied. not simply repeat known results in a different species. MINIREVIEWS(Download guidelines in PDF format) Minireviews. which are subject to peer review. should cover the background of a topical research problem. emphasizing the state of the art and serving as a focal point for further research. They must be written concisely. with no more than 50 references and a maximum of 6 printed pages (one printed page of full text is equivalent to around 5600 characters. including spaces). Minireviews will be considered in all areas of experimental plant science and it is recommended that the Editor-in-Chief be contacted in advance to confirm the suitability of the chosen topic. TECHNICAL FOCUS The Technical Focus section is a forum for critical evaluations and syntheses of key technological approaches in plant physiology. including evaluations of limitations or pitfalls of techniques. The Editors invite contributions on topics of interest from recognized experts but also invite proposals from authors for Technical Focus manuscripts. The format is flexible to accommodate varying content.

Physiological Reviews provides state of the art coverage of timely issues in the physiological and biomedical sciences. It appeals to physiologists, neuroscientists, cell biologists, biophysicists, and clinicians with special interest in pathophysiology. Topics are covered in a broad and comprehensive manner. These articles are very useful in teaching and research as they provide interesting, clearly written updates on important new developments.

Physiology & Behavior is aimed at the causal physiological mechanisms of behavior and its modulation by environmental factors. The journal invites original reports in the broad area of behavioral and cognitive neuroscience, in which at least one variable is physiological and the primary emphasis and theoretical context are behavioral. The range of subjects includes behavioral neuroendocrinology, psychoneuroimmunology, learning and memory, ingestion, social behavior, and studies related to the mechanisms of psychopathology. Contemporary reviews and theoretical articles are welcomed and the Editors invite such proposals from interested authors.Thematic issues and more comprehensive studies are also considered for publication, subject to the same review standards and process. Phytochemistry is the international journal of pure and applied plant chemistry, plant biochemistry and molecular biology, published 12 times per annum by Elsevier. The majority of these publications will be Regular Issues covering research on all aspects of pure and applied plant biochemistry, especially that which leads to a deeper understanding of the factors underlying the growth, development and metabolism of plants and the chemistry of plant constituents. Phytochemistry is a primary source for papers dealing with plant secondary compounds, especially with regard to their biosynthesis and diverse properties. Phytochemistry is the official organ of The Phytochemical Society of Europe and The Phytochemical Society of North America. The Journal is currently divided into several sections as indicated below, but papers which cut across these sections or which are on any other aspect of plant biochemistry will also be considered.

For nearly 100 years Phytopathology has been considered the premier international archival journal for publication of articles on fundamental research that advances understanding of the nature of plant diseases, the agents that cause them, their spread, the losses they cause, and measures that can be used to control them. Subject areas include bacteriology, host-parasite biochemistry and cell biology, biological control, disease control and pest management, ecology and population biology, epidemiology, disease etiology, host genetics and resistance, mycology, nematology, plant stress and abiotic disorders, postharvest pathology and mycotoxins, and virology. In addition to research articles, mini-reviews provide up-to-date summaries of recent advances in the science.

Psychological Science in the Public Interest (PSPI), published three times per year, is a unique journal featuring comprehensive and compelling reviews of issues that are of direct relevance to the general public. These reviews are written by blue ribbon teams of specialists representing a range of viewpoints, and are intended to assess the current state-of-the-science with regard to the topic.
