Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology is produced 12 times per year and publishes peer-reviewed original papers, reviews and editorials concerned with clinical practice and research in the fields of hepatology, gastroenterology and endoscopy. Papers cover the medical, radiological, pathological, biochemical, physiological and historical aspects of the subject areas. All submitted papers are reviewed by at least two referees expert in the field of the submitted paper.

The Journal of Gastrointestinal Cancer is a multidisciplinary medium for the publication of novel research pertaining to cancers arising from the gastrointestinal tract.The journal is dedicated to the most rapid publication possible.The journal publishes papers in all relevant fields, emphasizing those studies that are helpful in understanding and treating cancers affecting the esophagus, stomach, liver, gallbladder and biliary tree, pancreas, small bowel, large bowel, rectum, and anus. In addition, the Journal of Gastrointestinal Cancer publishes basic and translational scientific information from studies providing insight into the etiology and progression of cancers affecting these organs. New insights are provided from diverse areas of research such as studies exploring pre-neoplastic states, risk factors, epidemiology, genetics, preclinical therapeutics, surgery, radiation therapy, novel medical therapeutics, clinical trials, and outcome studies.·       In addition to reports of original clinical and experimental studies, the journal also publishes: case reports, state-of-the-art reviews on topics of immediate interest or importance: invited articles analyzing particular areas of pancreatic research and knowledge: perspectives in which critical evaluation and conflicting opinions about current topics may be expressed: meeting highlights that summarize important points presented at recent meetings: abstracts of symposia and conferences: book reviews: hypotheses: Letters to the Editors: and other items of special interest, including:Complex Cases in GI Oncology:  This is a new initiative to provide a forum to review and discuss the history and management of complex and involved gastrointestinal oncology cases.  The format will be similar to a teaching case conference where a case vignette is presented and is followed by a series of questions and discussion points.  A brief reference list supporting the points made in, discussion would be expected.

The Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery is a scholarly, peer-reviewed journal that updates the surgeon on the latest developments in gastrointestinal surgery. The journal includes original articles on surgery of the digestive tract; gastrointestinal images; 'How I Do It' articles, subject reviews, book reports, editorial columns, the SSAT Presidential Address, articles by a guest orator, symposia, letters, results of conferences and more. This is the official publication of the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract. The journal functions as an outstanding forum for continuing education in surgery and diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.

An interdisciplinary forum striving to represent the full breadth of LGBT mental health treatment; including issues relevant to patients and mental health care providers in all types of settings. The Journal of Gay & Lesbian Mental Health also strives to cover the full spectrum of sexual and gender minority populations; lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, and gender-queer. The Journal of Gay & Lesbian Mental Health emphasizes original research articles, critical reviews of the literature, reports of innovative programs for LGBT mental health care training and delivery, and case reports that advance our understanding of LGBT mental health. The Journal of Gender Studies is an interdisciplinary journal which publishes articles relating to gender from a feminist perspective covering a wide range of subject areas including the Social and Natural Sciences, Arts and Popular Culture. Reviews of books and details of forthcoming conferences are also included. The Journal of Gender Studies seeks articles from international sources and aims to take account of a diversity of cultural backgrounds and differences in sexual orientation. It encourages contributions which focus on the experiences of both women and men and welcomes articles, written from a feminist perspective, relating to femininity and masculinity and to the social constructions of relationships between men and women. The Journal of Gene Regulation (JGR) is an open access, peer-reviewed, and fully refereed scholarly journal. The journal publishes original papers, reviews, and communications on all aspects of genomic research, with a particular focus on RNA biology and genome editing techniques. Original manuscripts are expected to provide a clear contribution to advances in the field of genomic research, with a focus on the molecular mechanisms regulating gene expression in human disease. Reviews from all areas of genomic research are acceptable, with an emphasis on new technologies and molecular mechanisms. Reviews that promote new concepts, especially those that challenge existing paradigms, should be sufficiently grounded, carefully linking the topic to the field and critically analyzing recent work.

The goal of the journal is to improve the understanding of gene regulatory mechanisms and to develop new strategies for conquering human diseases. The journal welcomes multidisciplinary submissions, including molecular biology, microbiology, genetics, immunology, bioinformatics, oncology, pharmacology, and comparative studies. Research that can develop the impact of gene regulation to the therapeutics of human disease is highly encouraged.

Material published in JGR considers a wide range of approaches, including in vitro and in vivo mechanistic studies, preclinical studies, clinical studies, and population studies.
