The Journal d’Analyse Mathématique publishes top-level original articles in English and French in the field of classical analysis and in related areas. The broad mathematical scope of this journal includes topics such as complex function theory, functional analysis, ergodic theory, harmonic analysis, partial differential equations, and quasiconformal mappings. The Journal d’Analyse Mathématique is owned by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Since its founding in 1951 by B. Amira, its volumes can be found in the libraries of major mathematical institutions around the world.

The Journal for General Philosophy of Science is a forum for the discussion of a variety of attitudes concerning the philosophy of science. It has as its subject matter the philosophical, especially methodological, ontological, epistemological, anthropological, and ethical foundations of the individual sciences. Particular emphasis is laid on bringing both the natural, the cultural, and the technical sciences into a philosophical context, within which the historical presuppositions and conditions of the current problems of the philosophy of science are also included in the discussion.

The Journal for General Philosophy of Science has been successful in its attempt to serve as a forum that bridges the gap between the different sciences, especially the natural, cultural, and social sciences. One of its purposes is to discuss and contrast the common as well as the different specific methodological and philosophical foundations of the individual sciences, taking into account all currently relevant positions of the philosophy of science.

In recent years considerable insight has been gained into the problems of current philosophy of science by considering the historical dimension of the sciences. This is why more intensive efforts will be made in the future towards the integration of historical and systematic considerations.

Das 'Journal für Mathematik-Didaktik' (JMD) publiziert Originalbeiträge aus allen Bereichen mathematikdidaktischer Forschungs- und Entwicklungsarbeit. Eingereichte Texte werden in der Regel von drei anonym bleibenden Fachgutachtern bewertet, die das Herausgebergremium des JMD benennt. Das Herausgebergremium entscheidet aufgrund der Gutachten und eigener Fachkompetenz über das weitere Vorgehen (wie Ablehnung, eventuelle Änderungsauflagen und/oder den Abdruck des Textes im JMD). Für die Texte besteht Offenheit gegenüber Bezugswissenschaften (wie Pädagogik, Psychologie, Soziologie oder Philosophie) und gegenüber Nachbarwissenschaften (wie Didaktik der Physik oder Sprachdidaktik). Die Beiträge betreffen das Lernen und Lehren von Mathematik.

The field of computer virus prevention has rapidly taken an important position in our technological and information society. Viral attacks increase year after year, and antiviral efforts continually face new challenges. Beneficial applications of technologies based on scientific computer virology are still very limited. The theoretical aspects of the virus problem are only rarely considered, although many interesting and important open problems still exist. Little proactive research is focused on predicting the future of viral attacks. The Journal in Computer Virology is an independent scientific and technical journal dedicated to viral and antiviral computer technologies. Both theoretical and experimental aspects will be considered; papers emphasizing the theoretical aspects are especially welcome. The topics covered by this journal include, but are certainly not limited to: - Mathematical aspects and theoretical fundamentals of computer virology - Algorithmics and computer virology - Computer immunology and biological models for computers - Reverse engineering - Viral technologies - Antiviral technologies - Cryptologic techniques and tools in computer virology - Steganographic techniques and tools in computer virology - Applications in computer virology - Virology and IDS In addition, since computational problems are of practical interest, papers on the computational aspects of computer virology are welcome. It is expected that the areas covered by this journal will change as new technologies, methodologies, challenges and applications develop. The aim of the Journal in Computer Virology is to promote constructive research in computer virology by publishing technical and scientific results related to this research area. Submitted papers will be judged primarily by their content, their originality and their technical and scientific quality. Contributions should comprise novel and previousl, y unpublished material. However, prior publication in conference proceedings of an abstract, summary, or other abbreviated, preliminary form of the material should not preclude publication in this journal when notice of such prior or concurrent publication is given with the submission. In addition to full-length theoretical and technical articles, short communications or notes are acceptable. Survey papers will be accepted with a prior invitation only. Special issues devoted to a single topic are also planned. The policy of the journal is to maintain strict referring procedures, to perform a high quality peer-review of each submitted paper, and to send notification to the author(s) with as short a delay as possible. Accepted papers will normally be published within one year of submission at the latest. The journal will be published four times a year. Every submitted paper will be anonymously peer-reviewed according to the following rules: - Invited paper with board member as (co)author: at least one reviewer, - Regular paper with no board member as (co)author: three reviewers, - Regular papers with board member as (co)author: four reviewers. Note: As far as new viral techniques are concerned, the journal strongly encourages authors to consider algorithmic aspects rather than the actual source code of a particular virus. Nonetheless, papers containing illustrative excerpts of viral source codes may be accepted provided that a scientific approach is maintained and that inclusion of these excerpts is strictly necessary for the presentation of the research. No paper containing a complete viral source code will be considered or accepted. The final objective is, once again, proactive defence. A prize of 500 euros will be awarded to the best paper every year. The journal will be published by Springer France.

Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science (ISSN 1672-3597, CN 31-1908/R) is a journal with an international scope, focusing on the popularization of traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture- moxibustion culture, the promotion of international exchanges and the prosperity of clinical Chinese medicine and acupuncture-moxibustion. Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science mainly involves clinical practice and emphasizes the presentation of the detailed methods of observing and treating clinical common diseases on which acupuncture-moxibustion has a good effect. The articles are characterized by practicality, briefness and reproducibility. The main contents include the experiences of senior TCM doctors, forum on special diseases, clinical reports, brief reports, education series, terminology and brief introduction to new books. Journal of Adult Development, is a forum for publication of peer-reviewed, original theoretical and empirical articles on biological, psychological (cognitive, affective, valuative, behavioral), and sociocultural development in young, middle, and late adulthood. Coverage spans developments in both basic and applied research as well as quantitative and qualitative approaches to inquiry. The range of topics includes the acquisition of moral ideas and principles; the development and character of the ego; the changing nature of human relationships across the life span; relationship between the ethical atmosphere of higher education institutions and the development of adults within them; ways in which clinical interventions and adult developmental characteristics promote development in a variety of settings.
