Quarterly Journal of Engineering Geology and Hydrogeology publishes papers addressing sustainability, climate change, energy transition, geohazards and geo-resilience, to inform academic and industry practitioners in engineering geology and hydrogeology.

Previously published in two sections, Human Experimental Psychology (Section A) and Comparative and Physiological Psychology (B) the Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology merged in 2006 to form a single journal.The Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology is a leading international journal that publishes original articles on any topic within the field of experimental psychology. The journal publishes Rapid Communication articles (under 3,000 words) reporting novel techniques or ground breaking results, as well as substantial experimental reports. The journal offers an Open Access option, approved by the Wellcome Trust and other funders.The journal is keen to encourage submissions across a broad range of areas in experimental psychology, including those reporting work on human and animal subjects. Manuscripts including the use of functional brain imaging are also encouraged, as are papers reporting computational modelling of behavioural data.QJEP offers a competitive publication time-scale. Accepted Rapid Communications have priority in the publication, and usually appear in print within a few months. We aim to publish all accepted (but uncorrected) articles online within 7 days. Articles in their final form appear on-line, through the iFirst system, several months prior to paper publication.QJEP now offers an iOpenAccess option for authors. In the last half-century, social scientists have engaged in a methodologically focused and substantively far-reaching mission to make the study of politics scientific. The mutually reinforcing components in this pursuit are the development of positive theories and the testing of their empirical implications. Although this paradigm has been associated with many advances in the understanding of politics, no leading journal of political science is dedicated primarily to the publication of positive political science.The Quarterly Journal of Political Science will solicit, review, and publish the highest quality manuscripts in positive political science and contemporary political economy. The substantive content of the journal will be broad and eclectic, including cutting-edge research on any aspect of private, local, national, comparative, or international politics. The methodological approach will be analytical, focusing on positive political theories, empirical tests of those theories, and the measurement of causal relationships. The Quarterly Journal of Speech (QJS) publishes articles and book reviews of interest to those who take a rhetorical perspective on the texts, discourses, and cultural practices by which public beliefs and identities are constituted, empowered, and enacted. Rhetorical scholarship now cuts across many different intellectual, disciplinary, and political vectors, and QJS seeks to honor and address the interanimating effects of such differences. Quaternary Geochronology is an international journal devoted to the publication of the highest-quality, peer-reviewed articles on all aspects of dating methods applicable to the Quaternary Period - the last 2.6 million years of Earth history. Reliable ages are fundamental to place changes in climates, landscapes, flora and fauna - including the evolution and ecological impact of humans - in their correct temporal sequence, and to understand the tempo and mode of geological and biological processes. There is growing scientific appreciation of the complexity of the Quaternary Period. This has increased the demand on geochronological techniques to deliver increasingly more accurate and precise ages, which underpin attempts to determine the causes and consequences of events at a variety of temporal and spatial scales.Some Quaternary dating methods are well established, while others are in the early stages of development. Quaternary Geochronology will provide a readily accessible platform to rapidly communicate the latest developments and applications in these emerging fields, as well as improvements made to more traditional methods of age determination. New technological capabilities are providing a greater understanding of the underlying principles of age estimation and are stimulating innovative applications. Quaternary International is the official journal of the International Union for Quaternary Research. The objectives are to publish a high quality scientific journal under the auspices of the premier Quaternary association that reflects the interdisciplinary nature of INQUA and records recent advances in Quaternary science that appeal to a wide audience.This series will encompass all the full spectrum of the physical and natural sciences that are commonly employed in solving Quaternary problems.
