Phytochemistry Letters invites rapid communications on all aspects of natural product research including:• Structural elucidation of natural products• Analytical evaluation of herbal medicines• Clinical efficacy, safety and pharmacovigilance of herbal medicines• Natural product biosynthesis• Natural product synthesis and chemical modification• Natural product metabolism• Chemical ecology• Biotechnology• Bioassay-guided isolation• Pharmacognosy• Pharmacology of natural products• Metabolomics• Ethnobotany and traditional usage• Genetics of natural productsManuscripts that detail the isolation of just one new compound are not substantial enough to be sent out of review and are out of scope. Furthermore, where pharmacology has been performed on one new compound to increase the amount of novel data, the pharmacology must be substantial and/or related to the medicinal use of the producing organism. For more details please follow this link IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS
Phytochemistry Reviews is an international review journal that publishes peer-reviewed papers in four issues annually. The journal examines topical issues, some of which result from meetings organized by the Phytochemical Society of Europe. The journal also presents original review papers advancing knowledge of plants in respect to their chemistry, function, biosynthesis, effects on other plants, animal physiology and pathology. Also covered is the application of such knowledge in agriculture and industry. Invited meeting papers are complemented with other review papers resulting in a thorough overview of the status of all areas in phytochemistry. The Editor-in-Chief is Robert Verpoorte, Institute of Biology Leiden, The Netherlands.Phytochemistry Reviews now indexed in ISIWe are pleased to announce that the 2011 Impact Factor for Phytochemistry Reviews – the journal’s first – is 4.333.
The journal is ranked 17 of 190 in the category plant sciences.
Phytocoenologia publishes original papers in the fields of vegetation ecology. The journal covers all aspects of phytosociology in a comprehensive sense, i.e. including interactions between plant (and animal) organisms (coenological geobotany), the history and origin of phytocoenoses, vegetation dynamics, floristic and structural analysis of the plant cover (classification and ordination), fundamental environmental studies of plant ecosystems (synecology), pattern analyses from the ecosystem to the landscape level, and aspects of reproduction, dispersal and population biology in plant communities. The journal is open to methodological, theoretical, experimental and applied approaches. Phytocoenologia was founded in 1973 by R. Tüxen,The contributions should appeal to an international readership. Papers whose content is restricted to purely syntaxonomical and nomenclatural aspects or to local vegetation studies will not be accepted. Supraregional, synoptic views and comparative studies of vegetation types are welcome.Thematic issues devoted to current topics and special volumes (e.g., with selected contributions of I.A.V.S. and F.I.P.-Symposia) will also be considered for publication. .
Phytomedicine is published to attract and disseminate innovative and expert findings in the fields of phytopharmacology, phytotherapy and phytotoxicology, as a reference source for researchers in these fields, and with the aim to set international standards in their methodology. The journal publishes research results on phytotherapy (clinical trials), phytopharmacology, pharmacognosy, standardization and phytotoxicology, obtained with plant extracts as well as isolated compounds from these extracts and phytopharmaceuticals. Phytomedicine is targeted towards papers of a practical nature. The papers published in this journal are also useful to drug regulatory authorities in deciding whether to approve certain phytomedicines or not. Phytomedicine consists of the following sections: Case reports, Pharmacological and molecularbiological studies, Screening studies (only when focused on plant extracts or isolated compounds with extraordinary activities, Chemical structure - activity studies, Chemical analysis and standardization of plant drugs and phytopharmaceuticals, Reviews (by invitation).
Phytoparasitica is an international journal that publishes original research contributions on the biological, chemical and molecular aspects of Entomology, Plant Pathology, Virology, Nematology, and Weed Sciences, including insecticides, fungicides, herbicides and other biocides. Emphasis is laid on new approaches in the control of pests and diseases. Phytoparasitica publishes also Guest Editorials, invited reviews and research notes. 5-Year Impact Factor: 0.621

For nearly 100 years Phytopathology has been considered the premier international archival journal for publication of articles on fundamental research that advances understanding of the nature of plant diseases, the agents that cause them, their spread, the losses they cause, and measures that can be used to control them. Subject areas include bacteriology, host-parasite biochemistry and cell biology, biological control, disease control and pest management, ecology and population biology, epidemiology, disease etiology, host genetics and resistance, mycology, nematology, plant stress and abiotic disorders, postharvest pathology and mycotoxins, and virology. In addition to research articles, mini-reviews provide up-to-date summaries of recent advances in the science.
Phytotherapy Research is a monthly, international journal for the publication of original research papers, short communications, reviews and letters on medicinal plant research. Key areas of interest are pharmacology, toxicology, and the clinical applications of herbs and natural products in medicine, from case histories to full clinical trials, including studies of herb-drug interactions and other aspects of the safety of herbal medicines. Papers concerned with the effects of common food ingredients and standardised plant extracts, including commercial products, are particularly welcome, as are mechanistic studies on isolated natural products. Short communications dealing with the pharmacology and screening of crude or uncharacterised extracts will be considered for publication only if they are clearly of interest to our international readership and are not deemed more suitable for a regional audience. Phytotherapy Research does not publish agricultural, phytochemical, structure elucidation, quality control or botanical identification papers unless directly pertinent to the pharmacological effects or overall safety of plant based medicines currently in use.

Pigment Cell & Melanoma Research publishes manuscripts on all aspects of pigment cells including development, cell and molecular biology, genetics, diseases of pigment cells including melanoma. Papers that provide insights into the causes and progression of melanoma including the process of metastasis and invasion, proliferation, senescence, apoptosis or gene regulation are especially welcome, as are papers that use the melanocyte system to answer questions of general biological relevance. Papers that are purely descriptive or make only minor advances to our knowledge of pigment cells or melanoma in particular are not suitable for this journal.
