For over 30 years, The Journal of Early Adolescence (JEA), published bi-monthly, has provided demanding researchers and practitioners in criminology, developmental psychology, education, human development and family studies, psychology, psychiatry, public health, and sociology with the latest work concerning original theories, empirical research, literature reviews, and science-based practices regarding the early adolescent developmental period (10 through 14 years of age).
The editors invite manuscript submissions of between 25-45 pages (approximately 8,000-10,000 words), double-spaced (in English), which relate to topics related to any aspect of early American history, again broadly defined. The Journal of Early American History will also include reviews of recent books.
Journal of Early Childhood Literacy is a fully peer-reviewed international quarterly journal. Since its foundation in 2001 JECL has rapidly become a distinctive, leading voice in research in early childhood literacy, with a multinational range of contributors and readership. The main emphasis in the journal is on papers researching issues related to the nature, function and use of literacy in early childhood.

The Journal of Early Childhood Teacher Education, the official journal of the National Association of Early Childhood Teacher Educators, publishes original manuscripts, reviews, and information about association activities. The Journal of Early Christian History aims to contribute to scholarship in early Christian and Byzantine studies by publishing high quality research articles, review articles and book reviews. The journal aspires to approach the field of early Christian and Byzantine studies from new perspectives, welcoming studies incorporating various methodologies, contextual trajectories and interdisciplinary research. The journal especially wishes to promote research in these fields within a South African and wider African context, but not neglecting the international scholarly community. It therefore publishes individually submitted articles, articles resulting from research projects and also conference proceedings. Articles and reviews from the following disciplines are covered by the scope of the journal: New Testament Studies; Patristics and Late Ancient Studies; Byzantine Studies. Although these disciplines form the crux of research covered by the journal, studies from other relevant fields such as the Old Testament and Septuagint, Classics and Religion would also be considered for publication.
The official publication of the North American Patristics Society (NAPS), the Journal of Early Christian Studies focuses on the study of Christianity in the context of late ancient societies and religions from c.e. 100-700. The early modern period of world history (ca. 1300-1800) was marked by a rapidly increasing level of global interaction. Between the aftermath of Mongol conquest in the East and the onset of industrialization in the West, a framework was established for new kinds of contacts and collective self-definition across an unprecedented range of human and physical geographies. The Journal of Early Modern History, the official journal of the University of Minnesota Center for Early Modern History, is the first scholarly journal dedicated to the study of early modernity from this world-historical perspective, whether through explicitly comparative studies, or by the grouping of studies around a given thematic, chronological, or geographic frame.

Begun in 1934 as a quarterly journal, the Proceedings of the Indian Academy of Sciences (Earth and Planetary Sciences) was renamed the Journal of Earth System Science in 2005; it is now published bimonthly. The journal is interdisciplinary and presents high-quality research - new data, ideas, and conceptual advances - in Earth System Science in its broadest sense. This includes the solid earth, the atmosphere, the hydrosphere, and the biosphere; it also addresses related aspects of planetary and space sciences. Contributions pertaining to the Indian subcontinent and the surrounding Indian Ocean region are particularly welcome.
