Select a funder to see whether the journals are compliant. Check the filter ‘Journals with Agreements’ to limit the list to journals for which the APCs are fully waived (i.e. included in our Read and Publish agreements) or discounted. If a cost is shown then click ‘Check & Apply’ to see if the Open Access team can cover costs.

Journal of Central European Agriculture

ISSN: 1332-9049eISSN: 1332-9049
DOAJ Logo

Social change within the countries of Central Europe has brought major changes in agriculture. The abandonment of central planning and the introduction of the open market have created a need for the quickest possible exchange of knowledge. All countries in transition have similar problems; so a logical step is to create a shared journal. The beginning of a new millennium and the spreading of new electronic technologies creates new fields of publishing and easier access to knowledge from remote places. Besides a need for knowledge, there is a need to share problems and solutions with our neighbours but it is also equally important to keep and develop our national languages and identities. We have tried to combine such contradictory problems in one unifying electronic agricultural journal for Central and Eastern Europe. Not less important intention is to ease the demand on the present West European journals in agriculture, and to give opportunity and encouragement to Central European scientists to publish faster. The multilingual strategy of the journal accepts the world intention to preserve and support the development of national languages. The Journal publishes original articles, rapid communication of information and proceedings of scientific meetings in English, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Hungarian, Romanian, Slovak and Slovenian.

Journal of Change Management

ISSN: 1469-7017eISSN: 1479-1811

Journal of Change Management (JCM) is committed to publishing peer-reviewed, high quality empirical and conceptual research, and to become the journal of choice in its field. JCM will clearly establish itself as the journal which spans the entire field of organizational change, ranging from mainstream and established viewpoints to innovative, unorthodox, critical and challenging contributions. As such, it will be essential reading for all academics, students and practitioners of change management. Journal of Change Management is an interdisciplinary and international forum for critical, mainstream and alternative contributions - focusing as much on motivation, ethics and behaviour as on structure and process. JCM is a platform for open and challenging dialogue and a thorough critique of established as well as alternative organizational practices. Journal of Chemical Biology

ISSN: 1864-6158eISSN: 1864-6166

Chemical Biology is a novel interdisciplinary subject that is still evolving. Interpreting chemical biology as widely as possible, the 'Journal of Chemical Biology' (JOCB) will be open towards the whole spectrum of physical sciences research if it is applied to foster biomedical research. This will include innovative theoretical and experimental approaches and tools being applied to elucidate biological problems. Chemical Biology is not a synonym for Biological chemistry/Biochemistry, the latter being served by a plethora of life sciences journals, where well-established tools and techniques drawn from the physical sciences are employed to produce innovative biological research. The main acceptance criteria are therefore: the novelty/innovation in the physical sciences part of the presented interdisciplinary research and/or its application in biological research. Manuscripts are expected to convey their research in a fashion that allows both research communities to appreciate its significance and achievements. Thus, experts drawn from the life as well as the physical sciences background referee all manuscripts. The journal is keen to attract articles on novel innovations and discoveries in the physical sciences that can be applied in the cellular environment (in vivo). Important discoveries that have not yet reached the necessary proof for their biological relevance will be presented as short communications. Reviews and opinion papers as well as articles and short communications that present original multidisciplinary research with a clear applicability towards the life sciences are welcome. JOCB also invites to submit these research advances of interesting tools and technology developmentsthat are not yet applicable towards biological problems as 'notes'. Being an interdisciplinary journal we would like to encourage reviews on interdisciplinary subjects from authors affiliated with both disciplines as well as investigators affiliated in one disc, ipline with the desire to become engaged in this new interdisciplinary research area. The 'Journal of Chemical Biology' endeavors to create a platform for multidisciplinary physical scientists to publish their achievements, retrieve information, and exchange ideas, opinions and thoughts with the biomedical research community. The latter is addressed in the 'Journal of Chemical Biology Bulletin', which is published with each issue and will contain information that is relevant for the chemical biology research community. This includes book reviews, meeting reports and announcements as well as information on chemical biology studies and education. Color figures free of charge: All color figures will be published in print as well as electronic form free of charge.

Journal of Chemical Ecology

ISSN: 0098-0331eISSN: 1573-1561

Journal of Chemical Ecology is devoted to promoting an ecological understanding of the origin, function, and significance of natural chemicals that mediate interactions within and between organisms. Such relationships, often adaptively important, comprise the oldest of communication systems in terrestrial and aquatic environments. The strong interdisciplinary association that has developed between chemists and biologists has accelerated our understanding of these interactions in nature. Scientific contributions, including review articles, original research papers, rapid communications, and Letters to the Editor are welcome from either members or nonmembers of the International Society of Chemical Ecology. Manuscripts must be in English. They may include substantive observations of interactions in nature, the elucidation of the chemical compounds involved, the mechanisms of their production and reception, and the translation of such basic information into survey and control protocols. Journal of Chemical Education

ISSN: 0021-9584eISSN: 1938-1328

The Journal of Chemical Education (JCE) is co-published by the ACS Division of Chemical Education and ACS Publications. Launched in 1924, JCE is the world’s premier chemical education journal.

JCE publishes peer-reviewed articles and related information as a resource to those in the field of chemical education and to those institutions that serve them. The journal typically addresses chemical content, laboratory experiments, instructional methods, and pedagogies. JCE serves as a means of communication among people across the world who are interested in the teaching and learning of chemistry. The global audience includes instructors of chemistry from middle school through graduate school, professional staff who support these teaching activities, as well as some scientists in commerce, industry, and government.

The criteria for a publishable manuscript include these areas of evaluation: scholarship, novelty, pedagogy, utility, and presentation. To be considered for publication by the Journal of Chemical Education, a manuscript must:

  • Demonstrate scientific and scholarly rigor, supported by up-to-date citations to relevant literature and guided by a rationale for how the work fits into existing knowledge.
  • Exhibit novelty through original scholarship or a creative or innovative practice.
  • Have pedagogical content and educational relevance and insight that demonstrate a positive impact on teaching and learning while articulating audience level, use with students, and details for adopting and adapting the material, if applicable.
  • Be useful to JCE readers by showing a connection to teaching and learning within the context of curricula or coursework.
  • Present well-developed ideas in a comprehensive, organized discussion written in clear, concise English and making effective use of display elements (figures, schemes, tables, etc.).
  • Adhere to the requirements and JCE protocols outlined in the Author Guidelines for each respective manuscript type and be submitted according to ACS publishing policies

JCE does not publish science research papers (or papers exclusively covering scientific content) unless they have a direct link to the teaching and learning of chemistry.
