High Ability Studies provides a forum for scholars in a variety of disciplines associated with the development of human abilities to their highest level. It is a medium for the promotion of high ability, whether through the communication of scientific research, theory, or the exchange of practical experience and ideas. The contents of this journal are unique in reflecting concerns and recent developments in this area from childhood and across the whole life span in a variety of contexts. Far from being restricted to the traditional focus on high-level cognitive development, it also presents investigations into all other areas of human endeavour, including sport, technology, the arts, business, management and social relations. The journal is concerned with aspects of development, personality, cognition, social behaviour and cross-cultural issues in relation to high ability. Theoretical modelling and measurement techniques, as well as instructional strategies and curriculum issues, are of interest. Consequently, the journal presents material which is relevant to researchers in the field, to managers who have highly able individuals employed, to policy makers who need to find frameworks by which to make the best use of high ability in society, to mentors, coaches, teachers, counsellors and parents of highly able children. Furthermore, the contents are not restricted to the study of manifest high level achievement, but include the identification and nurturance of unexercised potential. High Ability Studies is an international refereed journal which publishes papers in English, as well as reviews of books and other relevant material. It is the official scholarly journal of the European Council for High Ability (ECHA). Founded in 1967, High Energy Chemistry (Khimiya Vysokikh Energii) publishes original papers on radiation chemistry, photochemistry, plasma chemistry, laser chemistry, and other aspects of high energy chemistry. It is the only scientific journal of its kind. Oxidation of Metals is the premier source for the rapid dissemination of current research on all aspects of the science of gas-solid reactions at temperatures greater than about 400ËšC, with primary focus on the high-temperature corrosion of bulk and coated systems. This authoritative bi-monthly publishes original scientific papers on kinetics, mechanisms, studies of scales from structural and morphological viewpoints, transport properties in scales, phase-boundary reactions, and much more. Articles may discuss both theoretical and experimental work related to gas-solid reactions at the surface or near-surface of a material exposed to elevated temperatures, including reactions with oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur, carbon and halogens. In addition, Oxidation of Metals publishes the results of frontier research concerned with deposit-induced attack. Review papers and short technical notes are encouraged.

This important new journal is an international publication devoted to original papers on fundamental and applied research and new developments in materials processing at high temperatures. Processes of interest include surface treatments, coatings production, welding, cutting, melting, re-melting and purification of metals, extractive metallurgy, process and secondary metallurgy, powder densification, ultra-fine powder production, high temperature synthesis and waste destruction. There is a broad range of coverage of experimental, analytical and numerical studies. High Temperature Material Processes will serve the needs of those who develop high temperature processes to produce bulk materials, surface treatments or coatings with given specifications, and will also promote connections between laboratories and industry.

High Temperatures - High Pressures publishes original research papers related to thermophysical properties of matter, including thermal and transport properties. Papers dealing with the gaseous, liquid or solid phase are equally welcome. Special emphasis is put on matter under extreme conditions such as high temperatures and high pressures, on properties of micro- or nano-structured materials, and on non-linear properties related to high rates of energy transport. Both theoretical and experimental work will be considered for publication. Reports on measurements of thermophysical property data as well as on the use of these data for applications form an integral part of the journal’s scope. Papers on novel experimental techniques and critical compilations and analyses of existing data may also be submitted.

High Voltage aims to attract original research papers and review articles. The scope encompasses high-voltage power engineering and high voltage applications, including experimental, computational (simulation and modelling) and theoretical studies.

High Voltage is a fully open access journal co-published with CEPRI (the China Electric Power Research Institute) and supported by Tsinghua University.
