Consciousness and Cognition, An International Journal, provides a forum for a natural science approach to the issues of consciousness, voluntary control, and self. The journal features empirical research (in the form of articles) and theoretical reviews. The journal aims to be both scientifically rigorous and open to novel contributions.Topics of interest include but are not limited to:• Implicit memory• Selective and directed attention• Priming, subliminal or otherwise• Neuroelectric correlates of awareness and decision-making• Assessment of awareness; protocol analysis• The properties of automaticity in perception and action• Relations between awareness and attention• Models of the thalamocortical complex• Blindsight• The neuropathology of consciousness and voluntary control• Pathology of self and self-awareness• The development of the self-concept in childrenDiscount subscription rates are available for members of the ASSC. The journal Izvestiya, Atmospheric and Oceanic Physics publishes original scientific research and review articles on vital issues in the physics of the earth’s atmosphere and hydrosphere, and climate theory. The journal throws light on recent investigations into physical processes in the atmosphere and ocean that control climate, weather, and their changes, which have possible practical applications. It also gives space to the discussion of results obtained in studies in various fields of oceanic and atmospheric physics, such as the dynamics of gas and water media, interaction of the atmosphere with the ocean and land surfaces, turbulence theory, heat balance and radiation processes, remote sensing and optics of both media, natural and man-induced climate changes, and the state of the atmosphere and ocean. The journal publishes papers on research techniques, current information on events in the physics of the atmosphere and ocean, conference proceedings, book reviews, and more.
The Journal of Economic Growth serves as the principal outlet for theoretical as well as empirical research in economic growth and dynamic macroeconomics. The journal publishes high quality research examining neoclassical and endogenous growth models, growth and income distribution, human capital, fertility, trade, development, migration, money, the political economy, endogenous technological change, overlapping-generations models, and economic fluctuations. The editorial board consists of prominent researchers in the fields of economic growth, dynamic macroeconomics, international economics, urban economics, migration, and development. The Journal of Economic Growth is ranked #4 among all journals in the RePEc (Research Papers in Economics) journal ranking: http://ideas.repec.org/top/top.journals.simple.html.Officially cited as: J Econ Growth
