Pesticide Biochemistry and Physiology publishes original scientific articles pertaining to the mode of action of plant protection agents such as insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, and similar compounds, including nonlethal pest control agents, biosynthesis of pheromones, hormones, and plant resistance agents. Manuscripts may include a biochemical, physiological, or molecular study for an understanding of comparative toxicology or selective toxicity of both target and nontarget organisms. Petroleum Science (a journal on petroleum science and technology in the English edition), sponsored by China University of Petroleum, enjoys the assistance of the Science & Technology Department of CNPC and three research institutes under the three major oil corporations, CNPC, Sinopec and CNOOC. Petroleum Science is the only English journal in China on petroleum science and technology that is intended for professionals engaged in petroleum science research and technical applications all over the world, as well as the managerial personnel of oil companies.
