Laser Physics Letters encompasses all aspects of laser physics sciences including, inter alia, spectroscopy, quantum electronics, quantum optics, quantum electrodynamics, nonlinear optics, atom optics, quantum computation, quantum information processing and storage, fiber optics and their applications in chemistry, biology, engineering and medicine.

Laser and Particle Beams is an international journal which deals with basic physics issues of intense laser and particle beams, and the interaction of these beams with matter. Research on pulse power technology associated with beam generation is also of strong interest. Subjects covered include the physics of high energy densities; non-LTE phenomena; hot dense matter and related atomic, plasma and hydrodynamic physics and astrophysics; intense sources of coherent radiation; high current particle accelerators; beam-wave interaction; and pulsed power technology.

Laser & Photonics Reviews is an international journal which covers the current range of laser physics and photonics, both theoretical and experimental, from recent research to specific developments and novel applications. Every issue contains invited review articles and topical reports.

Lasers in Medical Science has established itself as the leading international journal in the rapidly expanding field of medical applications of lasers and light. It provides a forum for the publication of papers on the technical, experimental and clinical aspects of the use of medical lasers, including lasers in surgery, endoscopy, angioplasty, hyperthermia of tumours, and photodynamic therapy.In addition, the journal publishes articles on the medical application of new lasers, light delivery systems, sensors to monitor laser effects, basic laser-tissue interactions and the modelling of laser-tissue interactions. The journal also presents articles relating to the use of non-laser light-tissue interactions.

Lasers in Surgery and Medicine publishes the highest quality research and clinical manuscripts in areas relating to the use of lasers in medicine and biology. The journal publishes basic and clinical studies on the therapeutic and diagnostic use of lasers in all the surgical and medical specialties. Contributions regarding clinical trials, new therapeutic techniques or instrumentation, laser biophysics and bioengineering, photobiology and photochemistry, outcomes research, cost-effectiveness, and other aspects of biomedicine are welcome. Using a process of rigorous yet rapid review of submitted manuscripts, findings of high scientific and medical interest are published with a minimum delay.

Formerly called Ch'ing-shih wen-t'i through Volume 5 (Print ISSN: 0577-9235) Late Imperial China is the principal journal for scholars of Chinas Ming and Qing dynasties. The journal presents methodologically innovative work in political and intellectual history, social, economic, cultural, and gender history, as well as historical demography, art history, religious studies, philosophy, and literature. Late Imperial China regularly features new work by scholars working all over the globe, including North America, Europe, Japan, Taiwan, and the Peoples Republic of China.

Laterality: Asymmetries of Body, Brain and Cognition publishes high quality research on all aspects of lateralisation in humans and non-human species. Laterality's principal interest is in the psychological, behavioural and neurological correlates of lateralisation. The editors will also consider accessible papers from any discipline which can illuminate the general problems of the evolution of biological and neural asymmetry, papers on the cultural, linguistic, artistic and social consequences of lateral asymmetry, and papers on its historical origins and development. The interests of workers in laterality are typically broad. Submission of inter-disciplinary work, either empirical or theoretical, or concerned with problems of measurement or statistical analysis, is therefore also encouraged. The journal publishes special issues on particular topics. The first issue was published in March 1996, and six issues are now published every year.The editors encourage the submission of dissenting opinions and comments that directly relate to papers that have been published in Laterality. The editors reserve the right to terminate an interchange after a comment and response to the comment.
