The Journal of Home Language Research (JHLR) is an international double-blind peer-reviewed open access journal. JHLR publishes original research from any part of the world in all areas related to the study of home languages, including but not limited to applied linguistics, theoretical linguistics, psychology, sociology and education. We define home languages as any languages that are used in the family and/or community and are not the majority language(s) of the context.

Internationally acclaimed, peer-reviewed, and devoted to publishing a wide variety of disciplinary and interdisciplinary scholarship to foster a thorough understanding of the complexities, nuances, and the multifaceted aspects of sexuality and gender. The chief aim of the journal is to publish thought-provoking scholarship by researchers, community activists, and scholars who employ a range of research methodologies and who offer a variety of perspectives to continue shaping knowledge production in the arenas of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) studies and queer studies. The Journal of Homosexuality is committed to offering substantive, accessible reading to researchers and general readers alike in the hope of: spurring additional research, offering ideas to integrate into educational programs at schools, colleges & universities, or community-based organizations, and manifesting activism against sexual and gender prejudice (e.g., homophobia, biphobia and transphobia), including the promotion of sexual and gender justice. The Journal of Hospital Librarianship is the first journal to specifically address the issues and concerns of librarians and information specialists in the field of hospital librarianship. This peer-reviewed journal focuses on technical and administrative issues that most concern hospital librarians, providing a forum for those professionals who organize and disseminate health information to both clinical care professionals and consumers. The Journal addresses a wide variety of subjects that are vital to the field, including administrative, technical and program issues that may challenge hospital librarians. Articles published in the Journal focus on research strategies, administrative assistance, managed care, financing, mergers, and more. Peer Review Policy: All manuscripts submitted to Journal of Hospital Librarianship are peer reviewed using a double-blind process. Reviewers are assigned on the basis of subject expertise. The Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Research (JHTR) is now indexed in the Social Sciences Citation Index. The Impact Factor is pending and will be published in June 2011. JHTR publishes original research, both conceptual and empirical, that clearly enhances the theoretical development of the hospitality and tourism field. The word contribution is key. JHTR encourages research based on a variety of methods, including both qualitative and quantitative approaches. JHTR also includes a Research Notes and Industry Viewpoints section.
