The Journal of Environmental Management is a journal for the publication of peer reviewed, original research for all aspects of management and the managed use of the environment, both natural and man-made. Critical review articles are also welcome; submission of these is strongly encouraged.As governments and the general public become more keenly aware of the critical issues arising from man's use of his environment, this journal provides a forum for the discussion of environmental problems around the world and for the presentation of management results. It is aimed not only at the environmental manager, but at anyone concerned with the sustainable use of environmental resources.Research Areas Include, but are not exclusive to:• Resource quality, quantity and sustainability• Economics of environmental management• Transport and fate of pollutants in the environment• Spill prevention and management• Remediation of contaminated sites• Process modification for pollution prevention• Improved energy efficiency• Waste treatment and disposalPapers submitted should address environmental management issues using a range of techniques e.g. case studies, observational and theoretical analyses, the application of science, engineering and technology to questions of environmental concern or mathematical and computer modeling techniques with the aim of informing both the researcher and practitioner.

Journal of Environmental Materials and Sustainable Energy focuses on the various topics and technologies of environmental contaminants, materials, renewable energy systems, and photocatalytic systems. This journal intentionally discusses the latest advances in environmental materials that may enhancement the transition to more sustainable energy systems. It aims to promote interdisciplinary understanding in the environmental and energy fields using different materials. In addition, it also serves researchers to apply alternative energy solutions to current practices.

The Journal of Environmental Pathology, Toxicology and Oncology publishes original research and reviews of factors and conditions that affect human and animal carcinogensis. Scientists in various fields of biological research, such as toxicologists, chemists, immunologists, pharmacologists, oncologists, pneumologists, and industrial technologists, will find this journal useful in their research on the interface between the environment, humans, and animals.

The Journal of Environmental Policy & Planning is an international journal that provides a forum for the critical analysis of environmental policy and planning. It explores the environmental dimensions of common policies such as transport, agriculture and fisheries, urban and rural policy, all stages in the policy and planning processes from formulation to implementation, and the interactions between governments and markets, the strategies of non-governmental organizations and business in relation to the environment, and land-use decision-making. The journal invites original papers from a political, social, economic, geographical, legal, cultural, and planning perspective to address any of the following areas: * Theoretical studies that enhance the understanding of the environmental policy process; * Analyses of environmental governance at different spatial levels; * Research into particular environmental problems, on a global, regional or local scale; * Contributions on policy instruments, environmental management and environmental and sustainability assessment techniques; * Comparative studies and evaluations of cross-national learning and policy development. The Journal of Environmental Psychology serves individuals in a wide range of disciplines who have an interest in the scientific study of the transactions and interrelationships between people and their physical surroundings (including built and natural environments, the use and abuse of nature and natural resources, and sustainability-related behavior). The journal publishes internationally contributed empirical studies and reviews of research on these topics that include new insights.As an important forum for the field, the journal reflects the scientific development and maturation of environmental psychology. The Journal of Environmental Quality (JEQ) is a bimonthly journal published by ASA, CSSA, and SSSA. The JEQ editorial board consists of the editor, editors-in-chief of ASA, CSSA, and SSSA, technical editors, associate editors, director of publications, managing editor, and chief executive officer.

The Journal of Environmental Radioactivity provides a coherent international forum for publication of original research or review papers on any aspect of the occurrence of radioactivity in natural systems.Relevant subject areas range from applications of environmental radionuclides as mechanistic or timescale tracers of natural processes to assessments of the radioecological or radiological effects of ambient radioactivity. Papers deal with naturally occurring nuclides or with those created and released by man through nuclear weapons manufacture and testing, energy production, fuel-cycle technology, etc. Reports on radioactivity in the oceans, sediments, rivers, lakes, groundwaters, soils, atmosphere and all divisions of the biosphere are welcomed, but these should not simply be of a monitoring nature unless the data are particularly innovative.Research papers are also included which, by either experimental or theoretical approaches, aim towards an improved understanding of the behaviour, transfer and distribution of environmental radionuclides. Predictive modelling is particularly encouraged. Papers on dating methods are acceptable if they have clear geophysical or geochemical significance. Descriptions of experimental methods should be both highly original and specifically related to determination of low-level environmental activities.The journal provides a vehicle for objective, open and peer-reviewed publication and discussion of the more controversial aspects of environmental radioactivity, including assessments of health effects, criteria for discharge control and options for ultimate disposal of nuclear wastes.Publication in this field is also encouraged in the related book series Radioactivity in the Environment designed to complement the coverage of the journal.

The Journal of Environmental Science and Health, Part A publishes significant advances and discoveries in all aspects of 'Science and Engineering.' as they apply to environmental problem solving. The Journal addresses topics, including, but not limited to, pollutants, xenobiotics and pharmaceuticals in water, soil, sediment and air, and their impact on human health or environmental quality; their origin, fate, biodegradation and transport in the environment; modeling of environmental biological and chemical systems; environmental toxicology, microbiology, biotechnology, chemistry, engineering and hazard/risk assessment; treatment and remediation technologies of water and wastewater, municipal and industrial wastes, leachate from hazardous landfill, toxic and hazardous substances , soil decontamination and treatment of industrial effluents. In addition, the journal also publishes research notes dealing with new methods and/or their development for the detection and measurement of environmental contaminants. The Journal of Environmental Science and Health, Part B provides an outlet for original research reports on analytical techniques or improvements on existing methods applicable to residues of pesticides, veterinary drugs, food contaminants (natural and additive), and other chemical contaminants, and their metabolites in the ecosphere. The journal offers original factual reports on the chemistry, toxicology, persistence, binding, translocation, chemical and biodegradation, and metabolic fate of these chemicals; their effectual contamination of the biosphere; their environmental fate; methods of detoxification; and their toxicological considerations and consequences. The journal also encompasses the development of integrated methods of pest control and various aspects of agricultural wastes, , including treatment and disposal.
