Journal of Cloud Computing: Advances, Systems and Applications (JoCCASA) is a peer-reviewed open access journal published under the brand SpringerOpen. It publishes research spanning all aspects of Cloud Computing. Principally focused on core elements, including Cloud applications, Cloud systems and the advances that will lead to the Clouds of the future, the journal will also present review and survey papers that offer up new insights, and lay the foundations for further exploratory and experimental work.

The journal disseminates research that imparts advanced theoretical grounding and practical application of Clouds and related systems, as enabled by combinations of internet-based software, development stacks and database availability, and virtualized hardware for storing, processing, analysis and visualizing data. Coverage will examine Clouds alongside such other paradigms as Peer to Peer (P2P) computing, Cluster computing and Grid computing. Coverage extends to issues of management, governance, trust and privacy, and interoperability of Clouds.

The Journal of Cluster Science covers a broad range of topics in basic and applied cluster science in all phases: gas, solution, and crystalline or amorphous solids. Topics include the synthesis of molecular clusters or nanoparticulate materials; structure determination; bonding analysis; chemical and physical properties; mathematical models of cluster structure; molecular biology of clusters, and new instrumentation and experimental procedures for cluster research. In addition to full papers, the journal publishes three special sections: Short Communications; The Forum; and Reviews of Cluster Research. For nearly a decade, this outstanding publication has been a respected forum for high-quality, peer-reviewed original articles. Now, to better meet the needs of researchers from every corner of the cluster science community, the journal's scope has broadened to include nanomaterials, complementing its traditional focus on chemistry.

JCOM will provide the primary forum for advancement and dissemination of scientific knowledge on co-operative organizations and their management. The journal will include up-to-date, high-quality, and original contributions - research papers, reviews, and syntheses as well as book and conference reviews - dealing with questions on how, why and when co-operative organizations occur and succeed, fail and disappear, and what can be done to influence the outcome.

Co-operative organization is broadly defined. It refers not only to co-operatives as an institutional form, but any other organization that follows the principles of co-operation. Examples include consumer, housing, producer, and worker co-operatives, credit unions and mutuals, multiparty alliances as well as different forms of collective, community, and social entrepreneurship. In addition to these types of co-operative entities, a variety of non-profit and voluntary organizations will be covered in the journal. JCOM calls for contributions focused on the following organizational philosophies and the management of organizations operating along one or more of these philosophies:
• Voluntary association of individuals and/or entities (co-operating and networking)
• Freedom with fellow individuals and entities (pursuit of autonomy and independence)
• Accountability of individuals and entities (membership in organizations and environments)
• User-members' collective ownership of and control over the organization's resources (democracy)
• Engagement in action only if rewards/results are greater than costs/efforts (efficiency and beneficiality)
• Transaction- or contribution-based distribution of economic surplus to members and stakeholders (fairness)
• Education and training of members and stakeholders on co-operation and the underlying principles (knowledge of co-operation).

Theory elaboration on the topic co-operative organizations has an interdisciplinary tradition. JCOM will therefore encourage contributions that make rigorous use of variety of theoretical perspectives and methodological approaches. The journal will also welcome critical debate between opposing perspectives.

JCOM will strive to attract and engage an international readership that is primarily academic. University libraries and individual academics are the primary target group for the journal. However, given the scarcity of rigorous and well marketed journals with similar focus, the journal seeks to attract professional audiences as well. This is important given that the ultimate test for theoretical contributions is the application of the new knowledge in the practices of organizations and in the praxis of individuals.

The Journal of Coal Science and Engineering (China) is a comprehensive academic journal sponsored by the China Coal Society and organized by the China Coal Research Institute. It is the leading journal in China to report on the achievements of science and technology in the coal industry. The journal was launched in 1995 on a semi-annually basis and then switched to a quarterly publication in 2007. The journal publishes research papers in mining engineering focusing on coal mines, mine safety, mine survey, mine construction, coalfield geology & exploration, mine electromechanical systems, mine environmental protection, coal economy, and other topics of contemporary interest. The Journal of Coastal Conservation is a scientific journal for the dissemination of both theoretical and applied research on integrated and sustainable management of the terrestrial, coastal and marine environmental interface. A thorough understanding of both the physical and the human sciences is important to the study of the spatial patterns and processes observed in terrestrial, coastal and marine systems set in the context of past, present and future social and economic developments. This includes multidisciplinary and integrated knowledge and understanding of: physical geography, coastal geomorphology, sediment dynamics, hydrodynamics, soil science, hydrology, plant and animal ecology, vegetation science, biogeography, landscape ecology, recreation and tourism studies, urban and human ecology, coastal engineering and spatial planning, coastal zone management, and marine resource management. Environmental applications that make use of spatial information technology (IT) to collect, analyse, interpret, visualise, and communicate the results of scientific research are also encouraged. This includes the use of remote sensing, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), environmental databases, Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and mobile technologies, cartography and digital mapping, geovisualisation, modelling and simulation, and the Internet. Applications that focus on the use of physical coastal modelling involving the detailing of the design, construction, instrumentation and results of model tests are also encouraged, including the theory, measurement, analysis and modelling of: Waves - generation, theories, prediction: Structures - types, interactions and structural responses: Measurement Techniques - pressures, velocities, and forces: Erosion/Scour – assessment and control: Scale Effects – control and techniques: and Natural Hazards Assessment. Research that promotes the role of education and, training to integrated and sustainable management of the terrestrial, coastal and marine conservation and management is also considered important to the coastal practitioner and manager. International contributions to the journal are encouraged. Thematic volumes and output from conference proceedings are also welcome.

Journal of Coatings Technology and Research (JCTR) is a forum for the exchange of research, experience, knowledge and ideas among those with a professional interest in the science, technology and manufacture of functional, protective and decorative coatings including paints, inks and related coatings and their raw materials, and similar topics. JCTR offers Research papers, describing investigations of chemistry, physics, materials science and engineering studies relevant to surface coatings; Applications papers on experimental solutions for technological problems in the design, formulation, manufacture, application, use and performance of surface coatings; Review articles offering broad, critical overviews of advances in coatings science; and Brief Communications, presenting notes and letters on research topics of limited scope or immediate impact. JCTR is published in cooperation with the American Coatings Association (ACA) and the Oil & Colour Chemists' Association (OCCA).

The Journal of Cognition, the official journal of the European Society for Cognitive Psychology, publishes reviews, empirical articles (including registered reports), data reports, stimulus development reports, comments, and methodological notes relevant to all areas of cognitive psychology, including attention, memory, perception, psycholinguistics, and reasoning. We also publish cross-disciplinary research if we judge that it has clear implications for development of cognitive psychological theories. As a signatory of the Center for Open Science's Transparency and Openness Promotion guidelines, we value methodological rigour and transparent scientific practices. We welcome submissions from scholars working anywhere in the world.

The Journal of Cognition and Culture provides an interdisciplinary forum for exploring the mental foundations of culture and the cultural foundations of mental life. The primary focus of the journal is on explanations of cultural phenomena in terms of acquisition, representation and transmission involving cognitive capacities without excluding the study of cultural differences. The journal contains articles, commentaries, reports of experiments, and book reviews that emerge out of the inquiries by, and conversations between, scholars in experimental psychology, developmental psychology, social cognition, neuroscience, human evolution, cognitive science of religion, and cognitive anthropology.

The Journal of Cognition and Development is the official journal of the Cognitive Development Society (CDS). Some CDS members are concerned with basic research or theory; others focus on policy issues and practical applications. The range of interests includes cognitive development during all stages of life, and we seek to understand ontogenetic processes in both humans and nonhumans. Finally, their interests encompass typical as well as atypical development, and we attempt to characterize both biological and cultural influences on cognitive change and continuity. The relationship between the journal and the society is symbiotic in that the journal enhances the field of cognitive development by providing a prestigious forum for innovative research and theory. It publishes the very best articles on all aspects of cognitive development. In addition to empirical reports, it features theoretical essays (occasionally accompanied by peer commentaries), and essay reviews of new and significant books. The focus of the Journal of Cognitive Engineering and Decision Making (JCEDM), is on research that seeks to understand how people engage in cognitive work in real-world settings and the development of systems that support that work.

Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience investigates brain-behavior interaction and promotes lively interchange among the mind sciences.
