The International Journal of Neonatal Screening (IJNS) is the official journal of the International Society for Neonatal Screening (ISNS). IJNS is also the official journal of the German Society for Neonatal Screening (DGNS). IJNS aims to improve the knowledge of the natural course of target diseases for newborn screening, as well as the knowledge about methods used in newborn screening laboratories. IJNS also seeks to improve the communication between newborn screening laboratories worldwide, and to distribute technical notes and improvement of existing screening methods and assays. IJNS is a peer-reviewed open access online journal, which will serve as the unique and universal platform for all newborn screening relevant topics of interest to: pediatricians specialised in inborn errors of metabolism, pediatric endocrinologists, pediatric pneumologists, pediatric immunologists, clinical chemists, biochemists, molecular biologists, geneticists, genetic counselors, neonatologists, public health authorities & specialists.
publishes original research articles, review articles, and clinical studies on the prevention, diagnosis, and management of kidney diseases and associated disorders.
Modern computer networks and communication systems are increasing in size, scope, and heterogeneity. The promise of a single end-to-end technology has not been realized and likely never will occur. The decreasing cost of bandwidth is increasing the possible applications of computer networks and communication systems to entirely new domains. Problems in integrating heterogeneous wired and wireless technologies, ensuring security and quality of service, and reliably operating large-scale systems including the inclusion of cloud computing have all emerged as important topics. The one constant is the need for network management. Challenges in network management have never been greater than they are today. The International Journal of Network Management is the forum for researchers, developers, and practitioners in network management to present their work to an international audience. The journal is dedicated to the dissemination of information, which will enable improved management, operation, and maintenance of computer networks and communication systems. The journal is peer reviewed and publishes original papers (both theoretical and experimental) by leading researchers, practitioners, and consultants from universities, research laboratories, and companies around the world. Issues with thematic or guest-edited special topics typically occur several times per year. Topic areas for the journal are largely defined by the taxonomy for network and service management developed by IFIP WG6.6, together with IEEE-CNOM, the IRTF-NMRG and the Emanics Network of Excellence. The taxonomy is available here.
The International Journal of Neural Systems is a bimonthly peer-reviewed journal which covers information processing in natural and artificial neural systems. It publishes original contributions on all aspects of this broad subject which involves physics, biology, psychology, computer science and engineering. Contributions include research papers, reviews, short communications and Letters to the Editor. The journal presents a fresh, undogmatic attitude towards this multi-disciplinary field, aiming to be a forum for novel ideas and improved understanding of collective and cooperative phenomena in systems with computational capabilities.
clinical application, or which provides insights into the biological basis of neuropsychiatric disorders and thereby advances their pharmacological treatment. Such research might derive from the full spectrum of biological and psychological fields of inquiry, encompassing classical and novel techniques in neuropsychopharmacology, as well as strategies such as neuroimaging, genetics, psycho-neuroendocrinology and neuropsychology. IJNP's rapid publication policy is facilitated by web-based submission and review, and the journal publishes the definitive versions of papers online, ahead of the printed issues. All papers are indexed in PubMed and Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Reports.
The International Journal of Neuroscience publishes original research articles, reviews, brief scientific notes, case studies, letters to the editor and book reviews concerned with problems of the nervous system and related clinical studies, epidemiology, neuropathology, medical and surgical treatment options and outcomes, neuropsychology and other topics related to the research and care of persons with neurologic disorders. The focus of the journal is clinical and transitional research. Topics covered include but are not limited to: ALS, ataxia, autism, brain tumors, child neurology, demyelinating diseases, epilepsy, genetics, headache, lysosomal storage disease, mitochondrial dysfunction, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, myopathy, neurodegenerative diseases, neuromuscular disorders, neuropharmacology, neuropsychiatry, neuropsychology, pain, sleep disorders, stroke, and other areas related to the neurosciences.
