Brazilian Journal of Veterinary Research and Animal Science is a bimonthly publication of the Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia of the Universidade de São Paulo, that publishes full papers, short communications and review articles concerned with veterinary medicine, zootechny and related fields.The journal has experienced many changes since its conception in 1938 as the "Revista da Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária da USP". J. Vet. Res. Anim. Sci., which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, and bibliographical references and strips.
