Mathematica Slovaca publishes original articles from all mathematical areas, namely, algebra and number theory, analysis, graph theory, probability theory and mathematical statistics, topology, measure theory and integration, many-valued logic and quantum structures, differential equations and dynamic systems. It brings together a number of subjects, such as mathematics, physics, soft computing, cryptography, biology, economy, and measuring. The journal publishes original articles with complete proofs. Besides short notes, the journal also presents surveys as well as special issues focusing on a theme of current interest. Mathematica Slovaca, the oldest mathematical journal in Slovakia, was founded in 1951 at the Mathematical Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, Bratislava. The quality of the journal is guaranteed by prominent Editorial and Advisory Board members from Canada, Europe, Russia, and the USA

Mathematical Communications is published by the Department of Mathematics, J.J. Strossmayer University of Osijek in cooperation with the Osijek Mathematical Society. The journal was initiated in 1996. It is published regularly - twice a year.

Mathematical Finance brings together work on the mathematical aspects of finance theory from such diverse fields as finance, economics, mathematics, and statistics. Mathematical Foundations of Machine Learning (MFML) is a forum for the publication of highest-quality peer-reviewed papers on the broad mathematical foundations of machine learning.

• Encourages papers concerned with all pure and applied mathematical aspects of machine learning, with a particular focus on foundational work.
• Explicitly encourages papers of conceptual value residing in the synthesis of mathematical theories and their application to fundamental problems in machine learning theory and practice.
• All papers must be characterised by originality and mathematical rigour; survey papers are welcome as well and must exhibit originality in the synthesis of the material and their vantage point.
• For a paper to be accepted, it is not enough that it contain original results. In fact, results should be highly relevant to the mathematical foundations of machine learning with a wide readership in mind.

Aims and scope Mathematical Geosciences (formerly Mathematical Geology) publishes original, high-quality, interdisciplinary papers in geomathematics focusing on quantitative methods and studies of the Earth, its natural resources and the environment.  This international publication is the official journal of the IAMG.   Mathematical Geosciences is an essential reference for researchers and practitioners of geomathematics who develop and apply quantitative models to earth science and geo-engineering problems.  Renaming the journal as of January 1, 2008 aims to better reflect the content of the journal and meets the growing multi-disciplinary interests and diversity of our readers and contributors.

Formerly the IMA Journal of Mathematics Applied in Medicine and Biology.Mathematical Medicine and Biology publishes original articles with a significant mathematical content addressing topics in medicine and biology. Papers exploiting modern developments in applied mathematics are particularly welcome. The biomedical relevance of mathematical models should be demonstrated clearly and validation by comparison against experiment is strongly encouraged.The journal welcomes contributions relevant to any area of the life sciences including: * biomechanics * biophysics * cell biology * developmental biology * ecology and the environment * epidemiology * immunology * infectious diseases * neuroscience * pharmacology * physiology * population biology.

Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences publishes papers dealing with new mathematical methods for the consideration of linear and non-linear, direct and inverse problems for physical relevant processes over time- and space- varying media under certain initial, boundary, transition conditions etc. Papers dealing with biomathematical content, population dynamics and network problems are most welcome. Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences is an interdisciplinary journal: therefore, all manuscripts must be written to be accessible to a broad scientific but mathematically advanced audience. All papers must contain carefully written introduction and conclusion sections, which should include a clear exposition of the underlying scientific problem, a summary of the mathematical results and the tools used in deriving the results. Furthermore, the scientific importance of the manuscript and its conclusions should be made clear. Papers dealing with numerical processes or which contain only the application of well established methods will not be accepted. Because of the broad scope of the journal, authors should minimize the use of technical jargon from their subfield in order to increase the accessibility of their paper and appeal to a wider readership. If technical terms are necessary, authors should define them clearly so that the main ideas are understandable also to readers not working in the same subfield.
