Zielsetzung der Zeitschrift Das Journal für Ästhetische Chirurgie bietet aktuelle Fortbildung für Fachärzte der Chirurgie, Dermatologie, Gynäkologie, HNO-Heilkunde, MKG-Chirurgie, Ophthalmologie und Plastischen Chirurgie in Praxis und Klinik. Inhaltlich werden wissenschaftliche und praktische Erkenntnisse und Erfahrungen der ästhetischen Chirurgie interdisziplinär dargestellt und vermittelt. Im Vordergrund stehen Beschreibungen etablierter chirurgischer Techniken, Kasuistiken und Operationsplanung und -management. Frei eingereichte Originalarbeiten ermöglichen die Präsentation wichtiger klinischer Studien und dienen dem wissenschaftlichen Austausch. Umfassende Übersichtsarbeiten sind das Kernstück jeder Ausgabe. Im Mittelpunkt steht gesichertes Wissen zur Operationsplanung und Durchführung mit hoher Relevanz für die tägliche Arbeit und Sicherheit des Patienten. Aims & Scope The Journal für Ästhetische Chirurgie (Journal of Aesthetic Surgery) provides state-of-the-art further education for all practitioners working in the field of Surgery, Dermatology, Gynecologists, ENT, OMS, Ophthalmology and Plastic Surgery in both practical and clinical environments. The contents cover all areas of applied Aesthetic Surgery from a practical point of view. The focus is on topics relevant to the safe and effective practice of aesthetic surgery, descriptions of clinical techniques, case reports and operation management. The journal includes important research and techniques in reconstructive surgical procedures having a significant aesthetic component. It also provides a forum for original articles advancing the art of aesthetic surgery. The core of each issue is made up by extensive works that provide an overview on a current focus subject. In this, the focus is on solid knowledge about current scientific and clinical advances with a high relevance for the practitioners everyday work., Review Articles to be published in Journal für Ästhetische Chirurgie are reviewed Declaration of Helsinki: All manuscripts submitted for publication presenting results from studies on probands or patients must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki.

Journal of Aesthetics and Phenomenology aims to encourage and promote research in aesthetics that draws inspiration from the phenomenological tradition as broadly understood, where “phenomenology” is inclusive of, but goes beyond the limits of, intellectual practices associated with the tradition and its well-known representative thinkers.  Unique in the English speaking world, the journal welcomes scholarly articles written in a phenomenological vein as well as analyses of aesthetic phenomena by researchers working on phenomenology within analytic philosophy.  

The field of Journal of Aesthetics and Phenomenology is further defined by its close connections with the arts and culture, including the reality of human experience and its environment. Besides philosophical rigor, the journal puts emphasis on both creativity of ideas and precision of language. It provides a platform for new innovative ideas crossing the boundaries of both philosophical traditions and traditionally accepted fields of research in aesthetics. 

The Journal of Affective Disorders publishes papers concerned with affective disorders in the widest sense: depression, mania, anxiety and panic. The Journal of African Cultural Studies is an international journal providing a forum for perceptions of African culture from inside and outside Africa, with a special commitment to African scholarship. It focuses on dimensions of African culture including African literatures both oral and written, performance arts, visual arts, music, the role of the media, the relationship between culture and power, as well as issues within such fields as popular culture in Africa, sociolinguistic topics of cultural interest, and culture and gender. It has evolved from the journal African Languages and Cultures, founded in 1988 in the Department of the Languages and Cultures of Africa at the School of Oriental and African Studies, London. Although the journal no longer carries articles on African languages that are primarily linguistic in character, it remains strongly interested in the languages of Africa as channels for the expression of their culture. Journal of African Diaspora Archaeology and Heritage provides a focal point for peer-reviewed publications in interdisciplinary studies in archaeology, history, material culture, and heritage dynamics concerning African descendant populations and cultures across the globe. The Journal invites articles on broad topics, including the historical processes of culture, economics, gender, power, and racialization operating within and upon African descendant communities. We seek to engage scholarly, professional, and community perspectives on the social dynamics and historical legacies of African descendant cultures and communities worldwide. The Journal publishes research articles and essays that review developments in these interdisciplinary fields.

The Journal of African Earth Sciences sees itself as the prime geological journal for all aspects of the geology of the African continent and the Middle East, and especially on the search for natural resources from these regions.This international interdisciplinary journal publishes high quality, peer-reviewed scientific papers on the geodynamics of the African and Arabian plates and their contained mobile belts, cratons and sedimentary basins; the crustal evolution, tectonics and structural geology of this region; economic geology of major mineral deposits and hydrocarbon resources; sedimentology, stratigraphy and palaeontology, petrology and mineralogy, geochemistry and isotope geology of Africa and the Middle East. Papers on applied geology should preferably be linked to such core geological disciplines and must be addressed to a more general geological readership. It is important to note that articles intended for submission to the Journal of African Earth Sciences must be of a wider African (or even international) context rather than purely local studies of limited scope, which should rather be addressed to national or local African-Middle Eastern journal forums. Journal of African Earth Sciences papers should appeal to a wide audience of geoscientists rather than being highly specialised technical papers.The journal is closely affiliated with the Geological Society of Africa and publishes the GSA Newsletter. The Journal of African Earth Sciences recently launched the "Geological Society of Africa Presidential Review" series of invited review articles written by acknowledged international experts, bringing together the latest earth science information for academic, applied geological and mining institutions on particular topics of wide interest.
