L'organe d'expression de la Société de Pathologie Infectieuse de Langue Française (SPILF).Médecine et maladies infectieuses est indexée dans les principales bases de données internationales. Elle publie des articles scientifiques en anglais et en français, articles originaux, revues générales, communications brèves et lettres à la rédaction, qui abordent les différentes pathologies infectieuses et leurs agents pathogènes. Les axes d'étude de la revue concernent autant la clinique, la prévention, la biologie, les infections nosocomiales que l'épidémiologie et la thérapeutique.

Infectious Diseases and Therapy is an open access, internationally peer-reviewed, rapid publication journal (peer review in 2 weeks, published 3-4 weeks from acceptance). Emphasis is placed on high quality pre-clinical, clinical (phases 1-4), and real world research around the discovery,  development, and use of infectious disease therapies. The journal also encourages diagnostic,  pharmacoeconomic, public health, educational, and quality of life studies as well as research around the prevention and management of infectious disease.
