In addition to original research papers, comprehensive review articles are welcome. Tutorial papers and brief papers containing significant new data or techniques, or commenting on previously published papers (letters to the Editor), may be published as Short Communications.

Remote Sensing Letters is a peer-reviewed international journal committed to the rapid publication of articles advancing the science and technology of remote sensing as well as its applications. The journal originates from a successful section, of the same name, contained in the International Journal of Remote Sensing from 1983-2009. Articles may address any aspect of remote sensing of relevance to the journal's readership including, but not limited to, developments in sensor technology, advances in image processing and Earth-orientated applications, whether terrestrial, oceanic or atmospheric. Articles should make a positive impact on the subject by either contributing new and original information or through provision of theoretical, methodological or commentary material that acts to strengthen the subject. Articles should be submitted through the journal's ScholarOne Manuscripts site and may be of no more than 10 journal pages in length; it may be possible to transfer articles such as those that cannot meet this limit to the International Journal of Remote Sensing. Articles that pass initial processing stages will be sent out for review. The reviews solicited from independent experts and the journal's editorial board will inform the editorial decisions. The Rivista Italiana di Paleontologia e Stratigrafia was founded in 1895. It publishes original papers dealing with all fields of paleontology and micropaleontology, stratigraphy, biostratigraphy and sedimentology, mostly from the Italian and Mediterranean region, but also from other Tethyan areas, like for example Central Asia and Himalaya. All papers are written in English since 1994 and are reviewed by international experts. The journal is currently indexed and abstracted by AGI, ISI, Current Contents, Georef, Geological Abstract and SciSearch. The Rivista Italiana di Paleontologia e Stratigrafia is published in three issues (one volume) each year in A4 format.

Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics is an international journal publishing original research papers and reviews across all branches of astronomy and astrophysics.

Resource Geology is an international journal focusing on economic geology, geochemistry and environmental geology. Its purpose is to contribute to the promotion of earth sciences related to metallic and non-metallic mineral deposits mainly in Asia, Oceania and the Circum-Pacific region, although other parts of the world are also considered. Launched in 1998 by the Society for Resource Geology, the journal is published quarterly in English, making it more accessible to the international geological community. The journal publishes high quality papers of interest to those engaged in research and exploration of mineral deposits.

The Review of Palaeobotany and Palynology is an international journal for articles in all fields of palaeobotany and palynology dealing with all groups, ranging from marine palynomorphs to higher land plants. Original contributions and comprehensive review papers should appeal to an international audience. Typical topics include but are not restricted to systematics, evolution, palaeobiology, palaeoecology, biostratigraphy, biochronology, palaeoclimatology, paleogeography, taphonomy, palaeoenvironmental reconstructions, vegetation history, and practical applications of palaeobotany and palynology, e.g. in coal and petroleum geology and archaeology. The enormously successful series is now published jointly by the Mineralogical Society of America and The Geochemical Society. Volumes 1-38 were published as "Reviews in Mineralogy" (ISSN 0275-0279). Volumes 1-6 originally appeared as "Short Course Notes" (no ISSN). The name was changed to "Reviews in Mineralogy and Geochemistry" (RiMG) (ISSN 1529-6466) starting with Volume 39. Paul Ribbe was sole editor for volumes 1-41. He was joined by Jodi J. Rosso as series editor for volumes 42-53 in the RiMG series submitted through the Geochemistry Society. With his retirement, Jodi Rosso is now the sole editor for the series.
