IntraVital is the only forum for the scientific community that is specialized in high resolution in vivo imaging. It is a truly interdisciplinary journal, which encompasses several areas of basic research (e.g. neuroscience, immunology, physiology, cancer biology, and cell biology) and their application in pre-clinical and clinical settings. Moreover, Intravital provides a venue for disseminating new ideas and research on advances in instrumentation, optics, development of new surgical procedures, automated software for image analysis, and imaging probes.

When it is possible to determine governing equation(s), shape(s) and size(s) of the domain(s), boundary and initial conditions, material properties of the media contained in the field, and internal sources and external forces or inputs, then the analysis determining the unknown field is considered mathematically well-posed and solvable. Invertebrate Reproduction & Development (IRD) presents original research articles and notes on the reproductive and developmental biology of the Invertebrata, both embryonic and postembryonic. IRD welcomes papers reporting significant results obtained using new techniques. Encouraged topic areas include: physiology, biochemistry, functional morphology, phylogeny, behavioural and regulatory mechanisms, including genetic, endocrine and molecular studies.The journal publishes penetrating and provocative reviews, mini reviews, research papers, announcements and proceedings. Islets is the first international, peer-reviewed research journal that will publish manuscripts on all aspects of clinical and experimental research into the physiology and pathology of the Islets of Langerhans and related topics. We are interested in manuscripts that report new information or insights into any aspects of these micro organs.Every year nearly 2000 papers that directly (or indirectly) examine the Islets of Langerhans are published in over 50 different journals. It is now the time to create a forum dedicated to the critical understanding of the Islets of Langerhans. The goal is to foster communication and a rapid exchange of information through timely publication of important results using traditional (print) as well as electronic formats (online). Issues in Mental Health Nursing is a refereed journal designed to expand psychiatric and mental health nursing knowledge. It deals with new, innovative approaches to client care, in-depth analysis of current issues, and empirical research. Because clinical research is the primary vehicle for the development of nursing science, the journal presents data-based articles on nursing care provision to clients of all ages in a variety of community and institutional settings. Additionally, the journal publishes theoretical papers and manuscripts addressing mental health promotion, public policy concerns, and educational preparation of mental health nurses. International contributions are welcomed.

The Italian Journal of Animal Science is an international peer-reviewed open access journal publishing original scientific papers, reviews and short communications on animal science, animal production and related areas. The journal welcomes submissions on the following subjects:

In 1996 the title was changed to the Italian Journal of Zoology, the name by which the publication is now known worldwide. The Italian Journal of Zoology covers all aspects of basic, comparative, and applied protozoan and animal biology at molecular, cellular, tissue, organ, organismal, population, and community-ecosystem levels. Papers covering multiple levels of organization are particularly welcome. Contributions on zootechnics, animal husbandry, and farming will not be considered as pertinent. Abstracts and Conference proceedings approved by the UZI Executive Committee are also featured in the journal on an ad-hoc basis. The Journal of Applied Animal Welfare Science (JAAWS) publishes reports and articles on methods of experimentation, husbandry, and care that demonstrably enhance the welfare of nonhuman animals on farms, in laboratories, in wildlife/zoo settings, and as companions. JAAWS is a joint project of The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and Society & Animals Forum (formerly PSYETA). Each issue includes several reports covering scientific experiments or demonstrations that present evidence relating to issues of applied animal welfare science. The editors also encourage submission of brief scientific reports based on less formal studies and observations on the ground, as well as of literature reviews and conference reports.
